Teachers can add or take away points in a batch, everybody can see where they stand on its leaderboard, and every point carries a written reason.
Frequently asked questions
How long does taking attendance take?
The teacher opens today's class, marks each student present, absent, late or excused, and confirms. For a big batch, Mark All Present and then change only the few exceptions.
Do parents hear about attendance?
Yes. For an absence, parents get an alert in their ClassTablet inbox, as a push notification and by email; for a late arrival, an inbox notice. Attendance news does not go by SMS.
Is attendance on every plan?
Taking attendance is on the Starter, Standard and Custom plans. Parts that need the parent portal, such as parent alerts, are on Standard and Custom.
