View my attendance record without asking the teacher
In ClassTablet a student opens their class list for any day and sees, next to each class, whether they were marked present, late, absent or excused. If attendance hasn't been taken yet, it says so. When the teacher saves or corrects attendance, the status changes on screen without a refresh.
How it is done today
With a paper register, students never know what they were marked. A student who walked in ten minutes late assumes they were present, finds out at the end of the month that they were absent, and by then can't remember which day it was. Mistakes surface far too late, and the teacher fields the same question over and over.
How it works

Open your class list
The student signs in, opens their list of classes and picks a day. That day's classes are listed in order of time.

A status next to every class
Each class shows a coloured status: Present, Late, Absent ('You were marked absent') or Excused ('Your absence was excused').

Not taken yet is shown too
If the teacher hasn't taken attendance yet, the class says so, so a student never mistakes a blank for present or absent.

Corrections show up at once
When the teacher confirms or later corrects attendance, the status on the student's screen changes on its own. No need to reopen or refresh.

Frequently asked questions
Can a student see anyone else's attendance?
No. ClassTablet shows a student only their own attendance, and only for classrooms they are enrolled in. Other students' statuses are never visible to them.
What should a student do if their attendance looks wrong?
Tell the teacher. Once the teacher who took the attendance, or an institution admin, corrects the record, the right status appears on the student's screen straight away.
Can students see a monthly attendance percentage?
Right now students see each class's status day by day. We don't claim a separate monthly or term percentage on the student's screen.
