These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of ClassTablet's platform, website, and services. By using ClassTablet, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Accounts & Eligibility

Teachers and parents must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Student accounts are created by teachers or school administrators. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree to use ClassTablet only for lawful educational purposes. You may not use the platform to harass, bully, or intimidate others; upload malicious content; attempt to gain unauthorized access; or interfere with the platform's operation. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

3. Teacher Responsibilities

Teachers are responsible for the classrooms they create, the students they enroll, and the content they distribute through the platform. Teachers must ensure they have appropriate authorization to use ClassTablet in their educational setting and to manage student data on the platform.

4. Student & Parent Data

We handle student and parent data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Teachers and school administrators control student data within their classrooms. We process student data solely to provide educational services as directed by the school.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

Some features require a paid subscription. Prices are listed on our pricing page and may change with 30 days' notice. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

6. Intellectual Property

ClassTablet owns all rights to the platform, its design, code, and branding. Content you create (assignments, materials, grades) remains yours. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store and display it within the platform as needed to provide the service.

7. Availability & Support

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice. Support is available via email and our contact page. Priority support is included with paid plans.

8. Limitation of Liability

ClassTablet is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, we will provide a reasonable period to export your data. After that period, your data will be permanently deleted.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the platform at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
