Build and set up a quiz in one editor

Printing a class test, handing out papers and timing it eats a whole period. Run it on Google Forms and there's the hassle of time limits, stopping second attempts or closing it on time, and the marks still go into a separate sheet.

   Start a new quiz

   Choose to create a quiz from the classroom. ClassTablet makes a draft and opens the editor; students can't see it until you publish.

   Write questions

   Add MCQ, checkbox, true/false or short answer questions and give each its points. Questions can also come in from Excel.

   Set the rules

   In settings choose the time limit in minutes, maximum attempts, open and close dates, shuffling, and whether results and correct answers show after submitting.

   Preview, then save

   Preview runs the quiz like a student would, without storing an attempt. Then click Save; leaving with unsaved changes brings up a warning.
