Put the easy questions first and the hard ones later
Any question can be dragged to a new position in the question list down the left of the quiz editor. The new order saves as soon as you let go, with no separate save step. When students start the quiz they are given the questions one after another in exactly that order.
How it is done today
Questions get typed in whatever order they come to mind, and the hardest one often ends up first. A weaker student stalls on it, burns most of the time available, and never reaches the easier questions further down that they could have answered without trouble.
How it works

Open the quiz in the editor
Open the quiz from your classroom's quiz list. A list of its questions runs down the left, each one numbered by its position.

Drag a question to its new place
Take hold of a question in that list, drag it up or down and let go. The numbering on the others adjusts itself to match.

Or move it from the keyboard
On a computer, select a question and press Shift with Cmd or Ctrl and the up or down arrow to move it one position at a time.

The new order saves itself
The order is saved the moment you let go. If the save is rejected you are told on screen, so a change never disappears quietly.

Frequently asked questions
Do students get the questions in the order I set?
Yes. Questions are listed by their saved position, so the order you leave them in is the order each student works through them.
Do I have to save after reordering?
No. The new order is written as soon as you drop the question. There is no separate save button to press afterwards.
Can another teacher reorder my quiz?
No. Reordering is limited to the teacher who owns the quiz. The change is refused for anyone else who attempts it.
