Archive a finished quiz rather than deleting it
A quiz can be archived from its editor. Archiving changes its state to archived and the screen confirms that it worked. The quiz itself is not removed, so last session's students, their attempts and their marks all stay exactly where they were.
How it is done today
A coaching centre two years in has a few hundred quizzes, most of them from past sessions. Finding this week's quiz means scrolling past all of them, and every so often last year's paper is set to a batch by mistake.
How it works

Open the quiz's editor
Go to the quiz from the classroom's list and open its editor. The quiz's actions are in the menu at the top.

Choose archive
Pick the archive action from that menu. It is not a deletion, so it goes through without a heavy confirmation.

The state changes
A 'Quiz archived' message appears and the quiz's card is marked archived, so it no longer reads as one of the active quizzes.

Attempts and marks remain
An archived quiz keeps its attempts, marks and analytics, so last session's results can still be looked up when someone asks.

Frequently asked questions
Is archiving the same as deleting?
No. Archiving keeps the quiz and only changes its state. Deleting removes it, and that is a separate action with its own confirmation.
What is the difference between archiving and closing?
Closing stops anyone starting the quiz but leaves it among the active ones. Archiving takes it out of the working list altogether.
Can an archived quiz be brought back?
There is no unarchive button in the app today. If you need the same questions again, duplicate the quiz and work from the copy.
