Keep the timetable somewhere it stays correct
The classes tab lays a batch's weekly classes onto a calendar. Cancellations and postponements from a month either side of the chosen day are merged into it, so what is actually happening on that day can be read in one place.
How it is done today
A timetable written in a register never gets updated once a class moves. Students turn up at the old time, and the teacher has to tell everybody separately. Nobody ends up with a record of which classes were dropped and which were shifted.
How it works

Open the classes tab
Inside the classroom, the classes tab puts a calendar at the top and the chosen day's class list underneath it.

Pick a day
Choosing a day on the calendar brings that day's classes below it, and a day with nothing scheduled says so plainly instead of showing an empty space.

See cancellations and moves merged in
Classes cancelled or postponed within a month either side of the chosen day are merged into the timetable rather than being kept on a separate list.

Remove a class that no longer runs
Anyone allowed to manage the timetable can open a class and remove it, and is asked to confirm before the removal actually goes through.

Frequently asked questions
Does every teacher see all of a batch's classes?
A teacher without permission to view the whole timetable sees only their own classes. With that permission, the batch's full timetable comes through instead.
What does someone without edit rights see?
They still get the calendar and the day's class list, but the tools for changing the timetable are not rendered at all, so nothing can be changed by accident.
Does removing one class remove the whole series?
The removal applies to that one class. If the class does not belong to the batch it was asked for, the request is refused and reported as not found.
