Students hand in assignments straight from the app
In ClassTablet a student opens the assignment, sees a countdown to the due date, and hands in by typing an answer, sharing a link or uploading a PDF or Word file of up to 25 MB. The teacher gets an in-app notification as soon as it arrives. Anything handed in after the due date is marked late.
How it is done today
When students send photos of their copies on WhatsApp the teacher's phone fills up and finding whose photo is whose takes ages. One says they sent it, another says the internet was down, and nobody records who handed in after the deadline. When a parent asks, there's no proof to show.

ClassTablet records the time of submission. If the due date has passed, the submission shows as late so it stands apart.

Frequently asked questions
Can a student resubmit after a mistake?
As many times as the teacher's Max attempts allows. Once the limit is reached ClassTablet stops accepting work, so the teacher sets that number up front.
Can students submit from a phone?
Yes. The submit page runs in the browser, so a student logs in on a phone and types, shares a link or uploads a PDF saved on the phone.
What if the teacher takes the assignment down?
If the assignment is reverted to draft, the student sees 'Submissions are no longer accepted' on the submit page and nothing more can be handed in.
