Fix one note without redoing the marking
Each voice note on a submission is handled on its own. If the label is wrong, rename it. If what you said was wrong, delete the note. Either way only that clip changes, and the rest of the notes and the grade stay exactly as they were.
How it is done today
A note recorded in a hurry sometimes names the wrong question, or someone walks into the room half way through. A note sent as a file cannot be taken back, so the teacher sends another one saying to ignore the first, and the student has no idea which to listen to.
How it works

Open the list of notes
On the submission screen, the Voice notes panel lists the existing notes by their labels, each with a player and its own controls.

Play it to be sure
Listen to the note before changing anything. When a submission carries several, the labels are how you tell which one you are about to touch.

Change the label
If only the name is wrong, give it a new label. The recording itself is unchanged; the student simply sees the corrected name against it.

Delete the note
If the content is wrong, delete it. The list updates straight away and one of the ten clip slots on that submission is free again.

Frequently asked questions
Does deleting take it away from the student too?
The note lives on the submission, so deleting it removes it from the student's page as well. What they have already heard cannot be recalled.
Do I have to re-upload the audio to rename a note?
No. Renaming and replacing audio are separate things. Changing the label keeps the same recording and only corrects the name.
Can I delete all the notes at once?
No, each is deleted on its own. That makes it much harder to wipe a whole submission's feedback by accident.
