Have the answer before the parent asks the question
Opening a student from the teacher's list and going to the Assignments tab shows all of their submissions in one table. Each row carries the title, the type of work, the grade and the status, such as submitted, graded or sent back for another attempt.
How it is done today
A parent asks whether their child is handing work in. Answering means opening each assignment in turn and looking for that student's name. With ten assignments that is ten screens, so the answer is usually a guess.
How it works

Open the student's page
Press the name on the students list. Their name and a few summary cards sit at the top, with tabs underneath.

Go to the Assignments tab
Choose Assignments from the tabs. That student's submissions are laid out in one table.

Read across a row
Each row carries the title, the type, the grade and the submission's status, so the whole picture for one student is on one screen.

Read the statuses
Graded, submitted, returned and resubmit requested each show as their own badge, and work handed in late is marked as such.

Does it cover every classroom?
The list is built per student, so their submissions appear together rather than having to be gathered assignment by assignment.
Is there a shorter view?
The Overview tab has a Recent Assignments card with the last few submissions, and marks anything handed in late.
Do students see this page?
This page is for teachers. Students see their own submissions and grades from their own assignments page.
