Reuse the assignment instead of retyping it
Duplicate Assignment sits in the menu at the top of the assignment editor. Choosing it creates a new assignment carrying the instructions, rubric and settings, and ClassTablet opens that copy's editor straight away so you can change the due date and the classroom it goes to.
How it is done today
At a coaching centre the same chapter's assignment goes to three batches with nothing different but the due date. Retyping the instructions, the rubric and the mark split each time means one batch ends up missing a rubric row, and it is only noticed during marking.
How it works

Open the original
Go to the editor for the assignment you want to reuse and open the three-dot menu at the top right.

Choose Duplicate
Duplicate Assignment is in that menu. It is disabled while the copy is being made, so a second press cannot create two.

Land on the copy
When the copy exists, the screen confirms it and takes you straight to the new assignment's editor. There is no going back to find it.

Change the date and the class
Set the copy's due date and use the settings to choose which classroom it goes to. Publish it once that is right.

Frequently asked questions
Does the original change?
No. The copy is a separate assignment. What you edit on it does not reach the original, and the original's submissions and grades are untouched.
Are student submissions copied too?
No. What is copied is the assignment itself: the instructions, rubric and settings. No student's work or marks come across.
Do students see the copy straight away?
You land in the copy's editor when it is made. It is worth checking the due date and the classroom before publishing it.
