Every mark is settled by the teacher
Once marking finishes, the proposed mark and comment for each question are put in front of the teacher, who can change any of them. Comments are held in both Bangla and English. The teacher can optionally record why a mark was changed.
How it is done today
Disagreeing with an automatic mark is normal, but most systems offer only two options: accept all of it, or throw it away and mark by hand. There is no middle, when in practice a teacher agrees with six questions out of seven and disputes one.

Each question's proposed mark and the reasoning behind it are shown separately, rather than as one total for the whole script.

Change the one mark you disagree with. The rest stay exactly as they were, with no need to re-mark the whole script.

Every comment is held in Bangla and English, so a student reads it in whichever language they are comfortable with.

Recording why is optional
You can note that a mark was too harsh, too lenient, factually wrong or marked against the wrong criterion. The correction stands either way.

Frequently asked questions
Does changing one mark mean re-marking everything?
No. Each question's mark stands on its own, so you change only the one you disagree with. Every other mark and comment stays untouched.
Is recording a reason required?
No, it is entirely optional. The correction takes effect just the same without one. The field exists so you can later see which kind of error kept recurring.
Can marks be changed while marking is running?
No. Editing is possible only once marking has finished. Trying it on a script still being marked reports that only graded scripts can be edited.
Does recording a reason train the system?
The reason is stored, but we do not claim the system learns from it. For now it is information kept for your own review.
