Put paper exam marks into the gradebook
In ClassTablet a teacher presses Create Exam and gives the exam a name, a date and a total mark, which builds a score sheet for every student in the classroom. Typing a score beside each name and saving it records the result, and the header counts how many are graded so far.
How it is done today
Model tests and weekly exams happen on paper. Marks go into a register, then somebody copies them into a spreadsheet late at night. Lose the register or end up with two versions of the file and nobody can say which is right, and when a parent rings to ask how their child did, the answer means going back to the scripts.
How it works

Press Create Exam in the gradebook
Open the classroom and go to the Gradebook tab. The Create Exam button sits at the top right, and pressing it opens the New Exam form.

Give it a name, date and total
Name it something like Physics Model Test, pick the exam date, then set the total marks. The total starts at 100 and can be changed. Create Exam stays disabled until all three are filled in.

Type each student's score
Opening the exam lists every student in the classroom as a row. Type a score in the box beside each name and save it; the box will not accept more than the exam total.

Watch the graded count
Beside the exam title you see how many students are graded out of the total. You can leave the rest and come back later, so a long class does not have to be finished in one sitting.

Frequently asked questions
Can students see the gradebook?
No. The gradebook is for teachers and admins only. To let a student or parent know a result you send a result SMS or share a results link, both of which are separate deliberate actions.
What if I type the wrong mark?
Type the new number in the same box and save again, and it replaces the old one. There is no limit on how many times a score can be corrected and nothing extra to open.
Do quiz marks appear here too?
Yes. Results from quizzes and assignments taken in ClassTablet reach the gradebook on their own. The only marks you type by hand are the ones from exams taken on paper.
Which plan includes this?
The gradebook is on every plan: Starter at 499 taka a month, Standard at 20 taka per student a month, and Custom. Creating an exam and entering marks works the same on all three.
