Where the scripts in a session stand
Opening a marking session returns its subject name and every script in it, in the order they were added, each with its own state. How far along the session is comes from those states, and the script currently being processed is picked out too.
How it is done today
Hand over a batch of a hundred scripts and the teacher wants to know how far it has got. Counting only the finished ones leaves out everything waiting to be reviewed, so the progress bar sits at zero while the work is actually moving, and the teacher assumes nothing has happened.

Ownership checked first
The session has to be yours. If it is not, the reply says it could not be found rather than anything more revealing.

The subject name is resolved
The session stores only a subject id, so the name is joined in, which is what puts the real subject on the screen instead of nothing.

Scripts in the order added
Every script in the session comes back in the order it was added, which makes matching them against the physical batch straightforward.

Done counts two states
Scripts that are finished and scripts waiting to be reviewed both count as done, so progress reflects the work rather than understating it.

The script currently being processed is picked out, and when nothing is running, the first one still queued is shown instead.

Frequently asked questions
Can you open another teacher's session?
No. A session that is not yours reports that it could not be found, which also means an outsider cannot tell a real session id from an invented one.
Does a script awaiting review count as done?
For progress, yes, because the AI's part of it is finished. The session itself is not treated as complete until every script has reached a final state.

No, this returns the session and the state of its scripts. Marks and comments question by question are on that individual script's own review page.
