From one place a teacher can rename a recording, attach it to a classroom and subject, publish its notes, and decide whether the recording is shared too. Until it is published, nothing reaches students, and sharing the audio is a separate decision from sharing the notes.

Notes going straight to students the moment the AI writes them is a bad idea: there may be mistakes, or something said privately in class may have found its way in. Equally, a rule that sharing notes must mean handing over the whole audio recording does not suit how teachers work.

Does sharing notes mean sharing the recording?
No. They are separate switches, so the notes can be published while the recording stays private, or both can be shared together.
Can somebody outside the class read the notes?
No. Reading published notes requires being a student and being enrolled in that classroom, and both are checked every time.
