Setting your own board, medium and group
A student opens the Academic section of their settings and fills in their board, medium, version, group, class and institution. Each field stands on its own, so you can enter only what you know, and adding the rest later does not wipe what was already saved.
How it is done today
Whether a student sits under the Madrasa board or the technical board, in Bangla medium or English version, in science or commerce, decides which class they belong in. Yet in most systems these details are written into an office register once at admission and never updated again.

The student opens the Academic section of their settings. Anything changed here lands on their own profile; there is no way to point this page at anybody else.

Choosing a board
Twelve boards in all: the general education boards, plus the Madrasa Education Board, the Technical Education Board and Bangladesh Open University.

Medium, version and group
Medium can be Bangla, English or Arabic. Version is Bangla or English. Group covers science, arts, commerce, general and vocational.

Only what you know
No field is required. Changing one detail and saving leaves every other one exactly as it was, so nothing is cleared by a partial save.

Once entered, the details stay on the student's profile and follow them through the class and results screens.
What you control
If a student enters something wrong, the teacher who teaches them can correct it. That power reaches only students in that teacher's own classrooms.

Frequently asked questions
Do all the fields have to be filled in?
No, not one of them is required. You can save with only what you know, and adding the rest later leaves the earlier details untouched.
Are the Madrasa and technical boards included?
Yes, both. The Madrasa Education Board and the Technical Education Board are both on the list, along with Bangladesh Open University.
Can the name or photo be changed here?
No. This section covers academic details only. Name, phone number and photo are changed from the Account section of settings.
Can anyone else change my details from here?
No. This page always acts on the profile of whoever is signed in, and there is no way to aim it at another person's record.
