How it is done today
After an exam, one teacher can end up with a hundred or more scripts to mark. Reading each one, keeping the rubric in mind and writing marks question by question takes several evenings, and by the last bundle it is hard to hold the same standard as the first. The marks then get added up by hand and typed into a spreadsheet, where one addition slip means a phone call from a parent.

Create a script-checking session and upload the question paper and your marking rubric. No rubric yet? The AI can draft one from a model answer for you to edit.

Upload the scanned scripts
Add students' scripts as PDFs or photos. Phone photos are corrected for the orientation the camera recorded, so a page shot square-on is what works best.

The AI proposes marks for each question
The AI works through every answer against the rubric criteria and sets a mark per question and a total, with a short reason recorded beside each one.

Uncertain scripts go to review
When the AI is not confident about a script, it withholds the result and marks it as needing review, so a teacher looks at it first.

The teacher checks and finalises
Next to each script the teacher sees the AI's marks and can change any criterion score or comment. The teacher's mark is the one that counts.

Does the AI finalise marks instead of the teacher?
No. ClassTablet's AI only proposes marks. Teachers can change the mark for any question, and scripts the AI is unsure about are held back and sent to a teacher for review.
Can the AI read handwritten Bengali answers?
Yes. The AI reads scanned or photographed handwritten scripts page by page. When handwriting is hard to read, the script is flagged for review so a teacher checks it.
What if I do not have a rubric?
The AI can draft a rubric from a model answer or extract one from a PDF. A teacher reviews and edits it before any script is marked.
How is AI script checking paid for?
Script checking uses AI credits, one per script. Credits are bought as separate packs and paid for through SSLCommerz, and the balance you have left is shown on the screen as you work.
