Keep the Zoom account in the institution's own name
The institution admin opens Zoom under Dashboard settings and presses Add Zoom account. Paste the account ID, client ID, client secret and webhook secret token from the Server-to-Server OAuth app created in the Zoom Marketplace, then press Verify and add, and ClassTablet checks the permissions with Zoom before storing anything.
How it is done today
Plenty of coaching centres run on one Zoom Pro account whose password is passed around the teachers. Nobody knows who is teaching on it, two people signing in at once cuts one class off, and when a teacher leaves the password leaves with them.

Create the app in Zoom
Sign in to the Zoom Marketplace as an account admin and create a Server-to-Server OAuth app. Add the required permissions on the Scopes tab, then activate it.

Copy the credentials
Take the account ID, client ID and client secret from the App Credentials page. Turn on event subscriptions and copy the secret token shown there as well.

Paste and verify in ClassTablet
Under Dashboard, Settings, Zoom, press Add Zoom account, paste the credentials and press Verify and add. Any permission still missing is listed on screen rather than hidden in an error.

Send the webhook URL back to Zoom
Once verified, ClassTablet shows a webhook URL. Paste it into Zoom as the event notification endpoint and save, or attendance and recordings will never arrive.

Frequently asked questions
Does ClassTablet supply the Zoom licence?
No. The Zoom account and its licences belong to the institution. ClassTablet connects to that account to create class links, collect attendance and copy recordings across.
What happens if a permission is missing?
Verification stops and the missing scopes are listed on screen. Add them on the app's Scopes tab in Zoom, activate the app again, and the check will pass.
Which permission matters most for attendance?
The meeting participant report scope. With it, attendance comes from Zoom's own report. Without it, ClassTablet works out attendance from join and leave events instead.
Can we register more than one Zoom account?
Yes. Larger institutions register several, and if you have them in a spreadsheet the CSV import registers many at once rather than one at a time.
