Which Zoom host belongs to whom, in one table
Dashboard, Settings, Zoom lists the institution's registered Zoom accounts and their hosts in a single table. Each row carries the account name, the host's Zoom sign-in, the person the host is assigned to and the account's status. An account with no host chosen yet still gets a row of its own.
How it is done today
In an institution running several Zoom accounts, who teaches on which one is usually written down in a spreadsheet, and that spreadsheet is never current. An account whose licence has lapsed is discovered after the class should have started, when the teacher cannot get in.
How it works
- 1
Open the Zoom page
As an institution admin, open Dashboard and go to the Zoom page inside Settings. The page is for institution admins only.
- 2
Read the table
Each row shows the account name with the host's Zoom sign-in address beneath it, then who the host is assigned to and the account's status.
- 3
Act on the status
Five statuses are shown: active, pending, error, draining and expired. An error or expired account can be dealt with before a class needs it.
- 4
Look for empty rows
An account with no host chosen yet still appears, with blank cells. Nobody can teach on it in that state, so it stands out in the list.

Frequently asked questions
Who can see this page?
Institution admins only. Teachers see just the one host assigned to them in their own settings, not the full list and not anyone else's host.
What does draining mean?
No new classes are being placed on that account, but classes already running on it carry on to the end. It is the state to use while moving off an account.
What shows if no account is registered?
Instead of a table you get an empty screen with two buttons, Add Zoom account and Import CSV, which is where the setup starts.
