Stop trying to remember what happened six months ago
Opening a student brings up their fee history for that batch, month by month. Each month carries its own state, a month charged nothing is marked as such, and where a payment was turned down the reason for it sits alongside.
How it is done today
When a parent rings up, working out what has come in over the last few months means going back through a register. Why a particular month's payment was not accepted is usually written down nowhere at all, so the same argument gets repeated.
How it works
- 1
Open the student from the list
Open that student's fee view from the batch's student list. Their months in this batch are gathered together in one place.
- 2
Read the state month by month
Each month's name sits next to its state, so which months are outstanding and which are settled can be read in a single pass.
- 3
Spot the free months
A month where no fee was charged is marked with its own badge, so it is not treated as outstanding and chased by mistake.
- 4
Read why something was rejected
Where a payment was not accepted, the reason is recorded against that month, so nobody has to reconstruct it from memory later.

Frequently asked questions
Can history be read for a student not in the batch?
No. The history is found through that student's enrolment in the batch, and without one the request comes back as not found instead.
Can payments be accepted from here?
Only for a month still waiting to be reviewed or one that has been flagged do the accept and reject actions appear. Other months do not offer them.
Is a reason required when rejecting?
Yes. Rejecting will not go through without one, which means the student and the parent always get an explanation rather than a bare refusal.
