Stop letting results out one student at a time
From the quiz's submissions screen a teacher can release every finished attempt in one action. ClassTablet saves any grading still open, then releases only the attempts that are fully graded and not already released. Each of those students gets a notification, and anything still needing manual marking is left alone and counted back to you.
How it is done today
Opening forty submissions one by one to let each result out takes a long evening, and two or three always get missed along the way. Some students have their marks and some do not, there is no easy way to remember which is which, and the calls from parents start before you have worked it out.
How it works

Open the quiz's submissions screen
Go to the submission list from the quiz in your classroom. The release action sits in the footer, and the same action is available while you have a single attempt open.

Finish the marking first
Set the scores on any questions that need marking by hand. An attempt that still needs manual grading is skipped when the results go out.

Release all the grades
Taking the release action saves whatever you were typing first, then lets out the results for every attempt that is ready in a single step.

You are told how many submissions were released, and how many were held back because they still need to be graded.

Frequently asked questions
Do part-marked attempts go out too?
No. An attempt that still needs marking by hand is skipped, and you are told how many were held back for that reason. Release again once you have finished marking them.
Do already-released results go out twice?
No. Attempts whose results are already out are skipped and counted separately, so those students do not get a second notification about the same marks.
Do students find out their results are ready?
Yes. Every student whose attempt was released in that batch gets a notification naming the quiz, so they can sign in and see their marks.
Can another teacher release my quiz's results?
No. Releasing is limited to the teacher who owns the quiz. The action is refused for anyone else who tries it on that quiz.
