All your batches' students in one list
Opening the Students page as a teacher shows the students from all of your classrooms in one table. Each row carries the institution ID, the name, the classrooms they belong to, their current status and when they joined, with counts by status above it.
How it is done today
A teacher with three batches keeps three lists and has to remember who is in which. When a student moves batch, the old list keeps their name, so the numbers stop matching when attendance or fees are worked out.

Open the Students page
Log in as a teacher and open Students. The students from your classrooms are laid out in one table.

Read across a row
Each row shows the institution ID, the name, the classrooms they are in, their status and when they joined, so nothing else has to be opened to identify someone.

Use the status counts
Counts by status sit above the table, so how many are active and how many have been removed is clear at a glance.

Act from the row
The row actions cover editing a student's details, assigning classrooms and resetting a password, without leaving the list.

Frequently asked questions
Does a teacher see the whole institution's students?
No. This list holds the students in their own classrooms. The institution-wide list lives in the admin dashboard.
Can a teacher change a student's role?
No. Changing roles, making someone an admin and bulk importing are all off for teachers. Those belong to the institution admin.
What shows when there are no students yet?
Instead of an empty table it says there are no students yet and suggests creating a classroom first, with a button to do it.
