Student management in the teacher's own hands
In ClassTablet a teacher sees the students in their own classrooms, adds new ones, corrects names and numbers, resets passwords, changes enrolment status and assigns students to classrooms. Every one of those checks first that the student really is in one of their classes.
In a coaching centre the office is small and the teacher is busy, so going through the office for a small fix just means a delay. The pages below cover how much a teacher can do alone, and where the limit is drawn.

- Resetting a student's password
A teacher can reset a student's password. The student then picks a new one the next time they sign in, and the teacher never gets to see what it is.
- Changing a student's enrolment status
A teacher decides whether a student stays active or comes off their class list. The change applies across all of that teacher's classes at once.
- Move a batch without going one student at a time
Set one student's classrooms in a single step from their row, or select several rows and move all of them into a new batch together at once.
- Get the student who enrolled today into the app today
Give a name, a classroom and a phone or email, and the student's account exists. A temporary password is shown once and changed at first login.
- A small correction should not wait for the admin
Phone number changed, or a name misspelled at enrolment? Open the member sheet from that row on the students list, correct the details and save.
- All your batches' students in one list
Every student across your classrooms in one table: their institution ID, name, which classrooms they are in, their status and when they joined.
Frequently asked questions
Where does a teacher's reach stop?
At the edge of their own classrooms. Every action first checks that the student is enrolled in one of their classes. A teacher with no classrooms at all can do none of it.
Can a teacher set up their own profile here?
These pages are about managing students. A teacher's own availability, subjects and fee settings are not currently open in the app's navigation, so we make no claim about them.
Is a solo teacher different from one in an institution?
The actions are the same; only how the student is identified differs. A solo teacher addresses the student directly, while inside an organisation they are addressed as a member.
