One code and your child is in the classroom
Open the add-to-classroom dialog from the parent home page and enter the invite code the teacher gave you. If the code is right, the child joins that classroom straight away; where a teacher's approval is required, the request is sent and waits for them.
How it is done today
When a child joins a new batch, getting them into the app waits on the teacher, and at the start of a session that is a lot of students at once. Until then the parent sees nothing in the app and the child has no routine or assignments.

Get the code from the teacher
Each classroom has an invite code. The dialog says so underneath the field: ask your child's teacher for the classroom invite code.

Open the add-to-classroom dialog
Open it from the parent home page. When a child is selected, the dialog names them so it is clear who is being added.

Enter the code
Type the invite code into the field. Submitting an empty field asks for a code rather than sending anything.

Read the result
If the child joined, the message names the classroom. If approval is needed, it says the teacher will review the request.

Frequently asked questions
Does the child always join immediately?
No. Some classrooms need the teacher's approval. The request is sent and shows as pending in the parent's classroom list until they act on it.
Where do I find the code?
From the classroom's teacher. The dialog reminds you underneath the field, and the example shows what a code looks like.
What if my child's account is not linked yet?
Link the child's account to yours first. Only then can you ask for them to be added to a classroom on their behalf.
What if the child joins the wrong classroom?
Removing an enrolment is the teacher's to do. Tell the teacher and they can take the child out of that classroom.
