A parent portal that saves parents a phone call
In ClassTablet's parent portal a parent opens an account and links their child with the email or phone number on the child's account. One page then shows which classes the child is in, what classes or quizzes are coming up, and recent quizzes, assignments and attendance. Absence alerts arrive in the app, by push and by email.

While setting up a parent account, enter the child's phone number or email along with your relationship, and the two accounts are linked together.

Frequently asked questions
What about parents without a smartphone?
The portal needs internet on a phone or computer. Parents with an ordinary mobile get SMS when the admin sends one or a teacher sends exam result SMS.
Which notices do parents get automatically?
An alert in the app, by push and by email when the child is absent, and an in-app and email reminder when a fee is unpaid. Each can be turned off in their own settings.
Can one parent link more than one child?
Yes. With several children linked, a child picker appears at the top of the portal and shows the classes, work and results of whichever child you choose.
