Add a whole institution's students from one file
In ClassTablet an institution admin opens accounts for up to 5,000 students or teachers at once from an Excel or CSV file, and creates classrooms from a separate file. Column matching, bad phone numbers and existing accounts are caught before anything is imported, and progress is shown while the job runs.

Frequently asked questions
Which file types can we upload?
.csv, .xlsx and .xls, so any ordinary Excel file. Each file can be up to 10 MB and 5,000 rows. Split a longer list across several files.
Can teachers run an import themselves?
No. Bulk import only works from an institution admin account. Teachers bring students into their own class by sharing the class code or an admission form link.
Will the same student end up in the system twice?
If an email in the file already belongs to an account, ClassTablet marks the row as a duplicate. You choose to skip it, update the details or add that person to your institution.
