A student's fee page brings together the bills from every batch they are in. Each row carries the batch, the month, the amount, what has been paid and the current state, and where a payment was turned down the reason comes with it.
How it is done today
A student in three batches has their fees counted in three places. They cannot remember which month is unpaid in which batch, and when a parent asks there is no way to answer except ringing a teacher.

The batch, the month, the amount charged, what has been paid against it and the current state all sit on the same row.

Going into a bill shows what was submitted for it: which provider was used, which number it came from and the transaction id.

Typing a batch name, a month or a state narrows the list, which matters once a student has bills stretching back several months.

Frequently asked questions
Can a student see why a payment was rejected?
Yes. When a submission is turned down the reason stays with that bill, so the student knows what to correct before sending it again.
Do teachers or parents see this page?
It is the student's own list of bills. When whoever signed in is not a student the request is refused rather than answered with somebody else's data.
Are gateway payments listed here too?
The evidence that comes back from the gateway is kept with the bill, so payments made by hand and through a gateway sit in the same list.
