Student fees: bills, reminders and checks in one place
In ClassTablet, set a classroom's monthly fee once and every active student gets a bill at 5am on the 1st of each month. Students who haven't paid get a reminder on the 15th and an overdue notice on the 5th of the next month. When a student submits a payment, a teacher checks it and approves or rejects it.
Students see each month's bill, its status and an invoice for paid months on their Fees page. Teachers open each student's payment history from the classroom's student list. The pages below take each step of the job on its own.

Teachers see the transaction ID, sender number and receipt a student submitted, check them against their bKash statement, then press 'Approve' to mark it paid.

At 5am on the 1st of each month ClassTablet raises a bill for every student in each fee-charging classroom and tells the students. No list to draw up by hand.

If the transaction ID doesn't match or the amount is short, the teacher rejects the payment with a reason. The student sees why at once and taps 'Resubmit'.

On the 5th of each month ClassTablet finds who still hasn't paid last month's fee and sends those students an 'overdue' notice, so old dues don't get buried.
- Students pay their own fees, with proof attached
From their Fees page a student sends money to your bKash, Nagad or Rocket number and submits the transaction ID. The teacher is notified at once to check it.
- One page for what is owed, whichever batch it is
A student sees the fees for all of their batches on one page: which month is outstanding, what has been paid, and why anything was turned down.
Frequently asked questions
How are students who join mid-month billed?
If the month's bills already exist, a new student's bill for that month is added as soon as they open their Fees page. The teacher has nothing extra to do.
Does every student pay the same fee?
Yes. The bill amount comes from the classroom's monthly fee, so everyone in a classroom is billed the same. There is no per-student discount or scholarship amount today.
Are free classrooms billed?
No. A classroom with a monthly fee of zero gets no bills and no reminders. Only published or active classrooms with a fee set are included.
Do students get a receipt?
Each paid month on a student's Fees page has an 'Invoice' button that downloads a PDF invoice, which they can show a parent or print.
