Once a quiz is published, the classrooms it has been assigned to are walked one at a time and a separate notice is raised for each of them. A quiz assigned to three classrooms therefore raises three notices rather than one shared broadcast.

A quiz has to be in draft before it can be published. Anything else has the publish request turned away.

A quiz with no questions cannot be published, and it says exactly that in reply rather than failing quietly.

Publishing walks the list of classrooms the quiz has been assigned to and raises the notices from that list.
