Frequently asked questions
Do parents need the app to get SMS?
No. SMS goes to an ordinary mobile number, with no app or internet needed. The parent's number just has to be linked to the student in ClassTablet.
Do attendance or fee notices go by SMS automatically?
No. Absence and fee notices go automatically by in-app notice, push or email. To tell parents something by SMS, the admin sends it from SMS Tools.
How is SMS usage counted?
Each SMS part costs one credit per recipient. A Bangla SMS holds about 70 characters and an English one 160. The total is shown before you send.
