Stop losing your best questions inside old quizzes
A teacher can write a question on the question bank screen without attaching it to any quiz. Difficulty and a topic can be recorded alongside it. The bank lists only your own questions, newest first, and can be narrowed by difficulty or by typing part of a topic name.
How it is done today
A good question usually lives inside one old quiz, and six months later nobody can remember which one. So the question gets written again from scratch, or whichever quiz happens to be nearest gets reused instead, and the collection never accumulates.
How it works

Go to the question bank screen
Teachers have a question bank page of their own. It holds the list of questions you have banked and the fields for adding another one.

Write the question and two options
Type the question, the correct answer and one wrong option. Leaving any of the three empty stops it being saved, and the screen says so.

Record difficulty and topic
Setting how hard the question is and what topic it belongs to makes it findable later. Neither is required, but skipping both makes the question hard to retrieve.

Find it again later
The list shows the newest questions first. Choosing a difficulty or typing part of a topic name narrows it down to what you are after.

Frequently asked questions
Can other teachers see my banked questions?
No. The bank lists only the questions written by the teacher looking at it, so another teacher's questions never appear in your list.
Does banking a question put it in a quiz?
No. A banked question is attached to no quiz, so no student sees it. It stays as your own collection until you decide to use it.
How many questions does the list show?
It shows a set number at a time, newest first. To reach older ones, narrow the list by difficulty or topic and they come back up.
