Let students see your logo when they sign in
An institution's administrator uploads the logo and favicon from the branding section. Separate versions can be given for light and dark appearance, and an app icon as well. The file type is checked, and a missing file or an unsupported type comes back with the reason rather than failing quietly.
How it is done today
An institution wants to reach its students under its own name, but a student who signs in and sees somebody else's logo never quite believes it. Parents cannot tell where the institution ends and the software begins, and start asking.
How it works

Go to the branding section of settings
The institution's settings have a branding section of their own. The place for uploading images sits there.

Choose which image you are giving
You pick one of the kinds: logo, dark logo, favicon, dark favicon or app icon. Anything else is refused with the list of what is accepted.

Upload the file
The file type is checked, and SVG files are accepted. If no file arrives with the request, you are told that rather than left guessing.

Give both appearances
Providing separate versions for light and dark means the logo does not disappear against either background.

Are SVG files accepted?
Yes. A filename ending in .svg is treated as an accepted type, so the logo stays sharp at any size it is shown.
Can any teacher change the logo?
No. Each request starts by checking it came from an administrator of that institution, and is refused where it did not.
